Auburn, Ala. (EETV) - Auburn Police are searching for one man in connection to auto break-ins over the weekend
The Auburn Police Division received reports on August 12th and 13th of someone unlawfully forcing entry into several motor vehicles parked at local businesses. The break-ins happened in the vicinity of Interstate 85 along the Bent Creek Road S. College Street exits.
Video footage captured images of what appears to be a white or light colored Chrysler 300. The suspect appears to be a black male in his mid to late 20s, approximately 5’-10” and weighing about 180-200 lbs. The suspect(s) stole assorted wallets and purses containing cash and credit cards.
Auburn Police is asking that anyone that recognizes the suspect and/or vehicle to call detectives at 334-501-3140 or the 24 hour non-emergency number 334-501-3100. Callers may also provide information on the case anonymously on the tip line 334-246-1391.
